Our Girls

On the boat to our first adventure in Magic Kingdom. Molly was "getting" Daddy's nose. Minnie Mouse was with us, And the beautiful princess Aurora. We went straight to the castle and dined with the princesses for breakfast:) Emily and Katie were excited about getting autographs. Molly was excited about the hugs:) Climbing the castle steps... Meeting Jasmine Molly wasn't so sure about her:) Meeting Snow White Snow White left her mark on Molly! Can you tell which is the "real" Aurora? Minnie Mouse leading the way down the castle steps. And off to more adventures!

In January, the whole Bach family packed up and went to Disney World for 11 days! To say it was a magical experience is an understatement. It was unbelievable. And I can't wait to go again!!! This is one of my favorite pictures: Molly intently watching a parade. You can just see the look of amazement on her face. This trip I had more fun watching my children's reactions to things rather than actually seeing the things myself. Notice Katie dancing in the background:) Many more blog posts to follow... Or rather, make it stop!!!! We have had 5 snow days in a row. Don't get me wrong, I love a good snow day; especially when I don't have to leave the house. But 5 days (plus 4 weekend days) where it was too cold for the kids to play outside IS A LOT!!!! If it wasn't negative degrees (rarely) I did let the girls play for a bit. Here is Katie all bundled up and ready to play for 5 minutes. A few trips down our hill... And a few trips up the hill. And they were done. When it is sooooo cold (-15 to 5 above), playing outside isn't really that fun! As a side note, Molly really wanted to go with her big sisters. And she did a few times. But on this day, I got her all bundled (10 minutes of layering). We opened the door and she said "too cold mommy! Too cold!" Her foot never touched the snow. Lol! Luckily we had nothing better to do that day than dress and undress:)

For the 100th day of school, Em and her friend dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2. They were quite the pair! Blue "hair" and all!

It seems our youngest has a sweet tooth! She will climb up in her chair at any time of the day and yell for dessert. ("I WANT DESSERT!!!!") Now of course demands like that are not given into. So after awhile of yelling, she changes her tune..."Dessert please??? Mommy I ask nice. Dessert please??? Mommy I use manners. Dessert please???" Unfortunately if that request is not granted (immediately) she goes back to screaming "DESSERT!!!!" It is so pleasant around our house some days:) But sometimes after a meal, dessert is necessary:) "I like chocolate! It is good!!!"

Em is quite the little sales person! It's Girl Scout cookie season and if you get too close...she will ask... Would you like to buy some Girl Scout cookies?

Katie: I want to make lunch ALL BY MYSELF. Mom: Sounds great! I would like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Katie: Ok, do you want me to cut it up? Mom: No thanks, I just want a whole sandwich. (I then proceed to empty the dishwasher thinking 'this is a pretty good deal..someone making lunch for me!') About 10 minutes pass... Katie: I'm all done mom! I didn't really understand why you would want a "whole" in your sandwich. But I did it just for you:)
