Our Girls

Katie's school had a concert at the library. Katie knew all the words! And the motions:) She was one cute performer!!!

We got about 3 inches of snow that was perfect for building "Winter the Snowman". Here he is with his carrot nose, rock buttons, and twig arms. "Winter" melted away about 2 days later and there was much sadness. Later that night we visited the Magic Tree. Emily and Katie LOVE this tree:) It is quite a sight. They like to stand under it and look up:) This was Molly's first time getting out to look at the tree. She was impressed, but really wanted to get down and run in the icy snow.

We ventured to Bass Pro to meet the man in a red suit. It was a bit traumatic for our youngest. But the older 2 hopped right up and told Santa what they want for Christmas. Emily wants a Lalaloopsy doll and Katie wants Marie Grace (and American Girl doll).

The girls went Christmas caroling at the local nursing homes. It is so nice to spread Christmas Cheer!

Katie performed in the annual Christmas recital and did a fabulous job!!! Video to come soon! Her song was Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland. That is now her most favorite Christmas song. My Katie loves to pose:)

Every year we make delicious cookies and this year was no exception! Katie and Emily helped daddy roll out the dough. Then they baked and now for the REALLY fun part...decorating! Molly was the master sprinkler of sprinkles:) More sprinkles landed in Katie's mouth than on her cookies. Emily mixed colors and used her creative side to make delicious AND beautiful cookies.

Emily decided to make some of her Christmas gifts this year. One of them was pot holders! It takes a lot of perseverance and finger strength...but she succeeded! Luckily she had a "helpful" partner:)
